2023 Interhouse Swimming Carnival

Congratulations to everyone who participated in Tuesday’s Years 7 to 12 Interhouse Swimming Carnival. It was fantastic to have everyone gathered again for this exciting event at HBF Stadium, a change from recent years’ modified carnivals due to COVID-19.

From breaking records to cheering from the sidelines, all the girls tried their best and should be very proud of themselves for displaying the true meaning of our 2023 College value, Excellence.

College Principal Jennifer Oaten was at the carnival in her special College shirt, which features the colours of all eight Houses. Jennifer stood by the edge of the pool encouraging the girls and later congratulated students on their efforts.

As always, students were eager to encourage their peers and show their House spirit with roaring cheers and bright outfits.

Thank you

Thanks to everyone who made the day a success, especially Emma Wood, Head of Sport, and the PE Department. This is a massive event to organise, and your time and efforts are much appreciated. A big thank you also goes to the House Coordinators and House Captains for the motivation and encouragement you have given to the girls leading up to the carnival.

Bring on the next House event!
