2026 Years 5 & 6 Swimming Carnival

The 2026 Years 5 and 6 Swimming Carnival began with a storm rolling in and plenty of rain. Umbrellas were up, towels were soaked and there was a brief moment where we all wondered what the day would bring.

But if there is one thing our Years 5 and 6 girls know how to do, it is adapt.

Instead of dampening spirits, the rain seemed to spark something special. Girls lined the pool in handmade signs, bright tutus and House colours. Lollies were shared. Cheers echoed across the school. The energy was impossible to miss.

Diving In With Determination

One by one, our swimmers stepped up to the blocks. With confidence and courage, they dove into the water and gave it their all. The level of competition was impressive, with every race showcasing their determination.

It did not matter whether they finished first or last. What mattered was the effort, the encouragement from the sidelines and the way they cheered each other on. They showed us what true school spirit looks like.

Celebrating Outstanding Achievement

A huge congratulations to all. Your determination, team spirit and positive attitudes made the entire community proud.

More Than Just a Carnival

The swimming carnival is always about more than ribbons and results. It is about collaboration, initiative and adaptability. It is about girls stepping outside their comfort zones and supporting one another with enthusiasm and kindness.

Whether racing in the pool, holding up handmade signs, cheering from the sidelines or sharing lollies with friends, every student played a part in making the day memorable.

We could not be prouder of our Years 5 and 6 students.
