362 SMC Girls Take Part in Education Perfect Science Competition

th overall globally (out of 1,281 schools) and 5th overall in WA for the 501-1000 students’ category. Also 27th in Australia. Well Done girls.

Special mentions go to Madeleine Haines (Year 10) who was awarded an Elite award placing her in the top 0.2% of 80,000 competitors from around the world. Shanera Barrett (Year 9) and Brenna Pope (Year 10) achieved Gold awards placing them in the top 2%. Stephanie Haines (Year 10) achieving a Silver award, placing her in the top 5%. Shay Bastiani (Year 10), Zoe Donovan (Year 7), Michaela Taliangis (Year 10) and Arianna Toledo (Year 10) achieving Bronze awards placing these in the top 10% of competitors. Finally Kate Ciraolo (Year 9), Hannah Gunning (Year 9) and Jessica Marchant (Year 9) received Credit awards placing them in the top 20% of students.

Well done to all of the girls who participated, 362 of you took the time to get involved. Great result.
