A Night to Remember: Year 11 Dinner Dance

Saturday night saw our Year 11 students dressed to the nines for their Dinner Dance at Fremantle Sailing Club. To find out more about the event, we asked Claire Newton, Dean of Year 11, and a few students about the night. You can read their comments below.

Students and their partners enjoyed a night of dancing, good company, and delicious food and shared in the elegant ambience of the Sailing Club. Everyone enjoyed themselves on the night, with many students commenting on how it exceeded their expectations. They enjoyed socialising and meeting new people and having fun on the dance floor. It was rated a great success. Well done to everyone for making it a happy and enjoyable occasion.” Claire Newton, Dean of Students, Year 11

“Such an amazing night! Everyone looked beautiful, and the venue was such a lovely space, with an incredible view, not to mention the dance floor that everyone (including the teachers) ended up on by the end of the night! It all came together so well, and I’m so thankful to have had such a wonderful time.” Rainy Guimbeau

For over 80 years, our Year 12 students have been at the forefront of shaping our school’s culture through their leadership. As one cohort graduates and another takes the helm, the baton of leadership is passed, igniting the potential within each new group of young women.
