This term the Year 8 students have been looking at various aspects of wellbeing. The topics have included looking at our character strengths and finding balance in our lives. The girls have practiced some short meditations and evaluated their wellbeing to determine areas in their lives they could work to improve on.
This week we had a session on active wellbeing, where the girls were able to select a session they would like to be involved in. Their options were taking a walk along the river, yoga, drawing, craft, crochet or making stress balls and then learning how to juggle.
As you can see in the photos the girls had a fantastic time being involved in these active sessions while learning more about how to improve their wellbeing. We hope they remember to use these new skills and strategies to assist them during stressful times.
