Gemma Varone

Welcome to another edition of the OGA Blog,

We’ve officially reached the halfway point of 2019, with the year showing no sign of slowing down.

Our mentoring program is continuing, as are Life Lessons with a Lunchbox. It’s fantastic to see so many of our members giving back to the current students, and sharing their stories and knowledge. I know that the girls all appreciate it very much.

The next big event on the OGA calendar is our Fashion Showcase on Saturday 31 August. Expressions of interests are flowing in from past students who are creatively inclined.  Fashion designers, makers of jewellery, accessories queens – if it can be worn, we’d love to showcase it, so please get in touch. Make sure you keep an eye on your inbox – we’ll be sending out information soon on how to purchase tickets to this fabulous event.

Thank you to all of the wonderful ladies who have volunteered their time so far this year –  and there’s still half a year to get on board if you’d like to!

Until next time,

Gemma Varone (2009)
President
