Year 12 Visual Arts / Design Artist Encounter Day Produces Amazing Works

Yesterday (Sunday), was the second of our Year 12 Visual Arts/Design Encounter Day. The Visual Arts students spent the day drawing with Andy Quilty, producing some stunning drawings in pen, ink and charcoal.

The students worked on how to loosen their drawing styles using mixed media. Firstly they worked with the skull, as a base, then with the portrait to build on the structure and expressions. Some very effective outcomes!
