A Perfect Day for the Athletics Carnival
What a beautiful day for our Interhouse Athletics carnival yesterday.
It was fantastic to see the whole College come together for this event. We love that this event caters for all students, whether they are a hurdler, sack race champion, thrower or prepared to run the torturous 400m event.
As usual, the stadium was a sea of colour and tutus as the girls tackled all of the events with great enthusiasm. The House Spirit was shining brightly in every corner of the stadium.
We are always amazed and impressed at the sportsmanship and support the girls give each other before and after every race. We had some exceptionally good performances, which is causing great excitement within the Physical Education department for the IGSSA athletics to be held later this term.
When you see the Homeroom placings, you will be surprised at the winning House. This really does show that every student and every event contribute to this wonderful carnival.
