What has been your journey since leaving Santa Maria College?
After leaving Santa Maria, I went to UWA, along with quite a few of my classmates and good friends to this day. I studied a combined law and commerce degree and met my husband, Macca.
After graduating from uni in 1998, I started work at Jackson McDonald law firm in Perth in 1999. In 2002, Macca and I spent almost one year living in London where we loved travelling and I worked in the law firm Bishop and Sewell. In 2003 I had the first of our four children. My passion is travelling and we have loved travelling with our kids on various holidays.
I have continued to work part-time in between raising my family. I am still a practising lawyer at Jackson McDonald in the property team. My particular focus is on the health, retirement living and aged care sectors and I enjoy working on matters such as acquisitions, development, disposal, managing and operating retirement villages and aged care facilities. I am a proud member of Jackson McDonald’s Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Working Group and appreciative of this Whadjuk Noongar Boodja that I live and work on.
I have two daughters now attending Santa Maria in Year 7 and Year 9.
What has been a highlight along the way?
I have been fortunate to have been blessed with four children and a support network of awesome family and friends around me that have enabled me to progress my career as well as raise our family.
What is one of your fondest memories from your time at Santa Maria College?
Fondest memory for me is probably being part of the drama production. We performed a play called Black Comedy and the cast and crew had such a wonderful time experiencing this opportunity together.

The 2025 OGA Movie at Palace Cinemas watching Bridget Jones Mad About The Boy. Our charity partner for this event is Zonta House Refuge Association a not-for-profit organisation that provides support and accomodatino services to women experiencing family and domestic violence.
