PAST
Ice skating
Another successful ice skating REC. Ice skating is a favourite for all year groups. The girls enjoyed socialising with the Aquinas and MLC boarders and meeting new friends. A huge thanks to Fran for accompanying the girls and for assisting Aquinas with an injury to one of their boarders.
Latitude and Kings Park
Our Years 7 and 8 Boarders had a wonderful rec at Latitude and Kings Park last weekend. Latitude is in Joondalup and it is a venue that includes a range of activities. These include rock climbing, large indoor trampolines, video games and ninja warrior style courses. The girls were joined by Years 7 and 8 boarders from Aquinas. After Latitude both boarding colleges went to Kings Park for a play and an ice-cream. This was such a great afternoon as it allowed to boarders to socialise in an informal and less structured environment. They were exceptional in their behaviour and manners. A big shout out to Karen for being our lead supervisor for this event, Many thanks!
Bounce & Shopping
Many of our Years 9 and 10 boarders enjoyed an afternoon session at Bounce, Cannington followed by a spot of shopping at Westfield Carousel. Bounce is a large indoor trampolining centre. They had an absolutely amazing time and were all very sweaty and hot afterwards, which meant frozen slushies were required to cool down! Thank you so much Aimee for taking these girls and caring for them.
