Boarding Recreation Activities, Week 8, Term 4
Due to our Boarding Orientation weekend, there were limited recreation activities on offer during Week 7, however, the Years 7 and 8 boarders was taken to Kings Park for a picnic on the Sunday. It was a fantastic day! The weather was glorious, there were approximately seven other Boarding schools and lots of laughter and fun.
On Thursday of Week 7 we offered the girls a mid-week trip to the movies as congratulations for their hard work during study. The Years 7, 8, and 9 boarders watched the movie Rams and absolutely loved it. Years 10 and 11 girls watched Misbehaviour and enjoyed the escape from their study routine.
The final weekend recreation event for the year culminated in a three-hour shopping spree at Carousel. The girls were keen to purchase Christmas gifts for family and friends. Despite the very busy shopping centre, the girls managed very well and were outstanding at being at meeting points on time, every time. We are very proud of their responsible behaviours. Well done girls!
As a Christmas activity, many of our girls boarded our big Boarding bus and joined Jen and Tiarne on the City of Perth Christmas lights trail. They visited the Perth CBD, drove through local suburbs viewing many amazing Christmas lights all while singing along to Christmas tunes!
