Boarding Staff Are Critical To The Success Of Any Boarding House
Our boarding team is built on care, compassion and a shared commitment to the wellbeing of all our girls. Many of our staff members have years of experience working with young people from all sorts of different backgrounds. We have an amazing, diverse team that includes nurses, teachers, carers, farmers, artists and paramedics! They all come from different backgrounds, but the majority share one commonality: experience living or working in rural areas. Some of the places our staff are connected to include Wickepin, Tammin, Burrucoppin, Condingup, Wagin, Wandering and Katanning.
Building positive relationships and always putting the needs of our girls first is important to us here in boarding. The boarding staff are more than just carers, they are role models who show our girls how to belong, care for others and find joy in everyday life. They work in partnership with our parents to ensure that every girl feels safe, loved and accepted.
We believe that happy girls thrive, and our staff play a vital role in making our boarding community a thriving and supportive place to be. These ladies are, in fact, a group of Mercy women putting Mercy into action. We are blessed.
