Brainstem Students Biotechnology Excursion

On Tuesday, the Year 10 Brainstem class visited The Harry Perkins Institute for a biotechnology excursion. Students worked with research scientists to practice techniques used to amplify DNA and view DNA such as electrophoresis. The girls marveled at the state of the art facilities and the ground breaking medical research being carried out at the Institute.
