Australian Apprenticeships – Ambassador: Kody House
Kody completed her Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, is now a qualified Diesel Fitter. Kody has continued to thrive in both her industry and on the football field, after making her rugby league debut for the Gladstone Raidettes in 2014. Kody’s hard work has paid off. She became a member of the Australian Jillaroos in 2015 and has played centre for Queensland in the inaugural Women’s Holden State of Origin in 2018. Kody also signed with the Broncos for the 2018 Women’s Premiership and says her VET qualification has taught her skills which have helped her football career. Kody is undertaking a Bachelor of Sports Exercise Science and won the Rugby League Players Association 2018 Academic Player of the Year Award at the Player’s Champion Awards.
