Staff Take Time Out

This week, our staff were given the opportunity to enjoy a Community and Wellbeing afternoon with activities on offer such as yoga, meditation, tennis, singing, boardgames and art.


This year our Year 10 students will be participating in a brand new Enhanced Learning Program called Future10.

A Kaleidoscope of Talent!

The Mercy Walk was transformed into a kaleidoscope of colours, textures, patterns and shapes as students proudly paraded their creations at this Year’s Art Exhibition and Fashion Parade.

Our graduating class of 2019 were honoured at our recent Valedictory events. Many girls have worked exceptionally hard, shown great courage, demonstrated excellent leadership and graduate as fine Mercy women.

Christmas Appeal Launched

The annual Christmas Appeal was launched this week to staff, students and families. Our donations will bring much relief to those in the community who are struggling during the Christmas Season.

A Unique Performance

Drama students from Years 9, 10 and 11 enjoyed a performance of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, in a unique performance opportunity at the Pop-Up-Globe this week.

Growth and Survival

Year 6 classes are studying biological sciences this term. The focus of the topic is the growth and survival of living things and how they are affected by the physical conditions of their environment.

Pengiun Island

Marine Science Visit to Penguin Island

Environmentalist are arguing that recreation, tourism and human visitation to Penguin Island are negatively impacting on the marine environment. For conservation reasons, the environmentalists argue that the island should be closed to human visitors.
