Celebrating the 2025 Student Leaders
We are thrilled to introduce the 2025 Student Council at Santa Maria College! These outstanding young women were officially commissioned in a heartwarming ceremony this week, surrounded by their proud families, staff, and peers.
Commissioned were the Year 12 Student Leadership Council and Student Representative Council, consisting of students in Year 6 and Years 8-11. The Year 7 leaders will be elected and commissioned in Term 1, 2025.
During this week’s ceremony, each student took part in an Act of Commitment, where they pledged to embody the College’s values of hospitality, compassion, justice, service, and excellence. They promised to lead with integrity, use their talents to uplift others, and foster an environment of kindness, respect, and inclusion within our community.
