Cheerleaders Represent Western Australia

Cheerleaders Represent Western Australia

The AASCF National Cheer and Dance Championships is the biggest cheerleading competition in the Southern Hemisphere. This year the competition was held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre and saw over 12,000 athletes competing in more than 1975 teams across the weekend.

Ten Santa Maria students represented their club, TNT Allstars and Western Australia at these championships. The competition was very strong and all teams performed their best routine of the year and ‘Hit 0’, which means they made no mistakes. Although we travelled with our club, the Santa Maria connection stayed strong with all of these girls giving each other a little extra support throughout the weekend.

A big congratulations to all of the girls for their commitment and dedication to their team throughout the year, and to finish the season strong.

Below are the results from the weekend:

Senior Level 2 Nitros:   2nd Place
Senior Level 3 Atomic:   4th Place
Senior Level 4 Senior Smoke:   4th Place
Open Level 4.2 Shell Shock: 1st Place
