The inaugural Year 13 Breakfast was hosted by the Old Girls’ Association on Thursday 8 February 2018, prior to the Achievers’ Assembly. This event provided the new graduates an opportunity to gather at our old stomping ground and share what we have been up to since leaving school.
The Old Girls’ Association (OGA) breakfast, was a beautiful way to commence the start of the new school year. The early start was filled with the smell of fresh baked croissants where we gathered together and exchanged stories about our relaxed summers. There was much laughter shared.
We were then greeted by past students Amanda Swift (1985), Naomi Chapman (1986) and Elsie Blay (Bowd-Williams 2009), who discussed a wide range of different career opportunities. After speaking to them over a cup of tea, it’s safe to say, they put most of our minds at ease about the worries of university.
We are very thankful to the OGA who arranged this special breakfast for us. It was a lovely morning where the Class of 2017, reluctantly came to the conclusion that we are now officially Old Girls.
