Class of 2020 Recognised for their Achievements
We acknowledged our high achievers from the Class of 2020, this week. Although a little later than usual, it was wonderful to celebrate the many achievements of our girls and to hear the diverse range of courses they are commencing this year.
We wish all of our Graduates of the Class of 2020 all the best for their journey in the coming years.
Our Guest Speaker was Ciara Duffy (Class of 2011), who addressed us from London via a recorded presentation. Ciara spoke of her experiences since leaving school, from her initial goal to study medicine, hard work, disappointment, more hard work, more disappointment, and finally, discovering her passion for scientific research and completing her PhD.  Dr Ciara’s research into the use of honeybee venom to treat breast cancer has been a huge development in cancer research and we look forward to hearing more about the potential of this treatment in the future.
