Crimson Education in the Careers Centre

On Monday, the Careers Centre hosted its first guest speakers. Sam and Duao from Crimson Education came to talk with students about opportunities available studying overseas after Year 12. The attendance exceeded expectations with approximately 70 students engaging with the speakers.

The presentation covered many topics including how to apply to US and UK universities (exam scores, essays and interviews). The feedback from the students was very positive and they found the session informative and helpful. “It was a tremendously positive launch for the newly positioned Careers Centre”, said Nic Keskinidis, Career Development Coordinator.

The Careers Centre will continue to host events like this on a regular basis with the next scheduled event on 12 March from 7.45 am-8.30 am. The University of Western Australia will talk with Year 10 students about setting goals, transition plans and courses on offer. Breakfast will be provided. Students can RSVP to Mrs Newton if they are interested.
