Farewell To Our Year 12 Boarders
This week, we celebrated our annual farewell events, bidding goodbye and good luck to our Year 12 boarders as they prepare to embark on the next chapter of their lives.
The festivities began with a special long table dinner for the Year 12s. Each year group played a role in making the evening memorable, from serving meals and clearing dishes to presenting handmade good luck cards and delivering dessert. It was a heartfelt evening of support and camaraderie.
On Sunday, the Year 11 boarders hosted a lively ‘Mama Mia’-themed breakfast. They enjoyed a feast fit for queens, played a fun game of ‘Guess the Baby/Toddler’ photos, crafted bracelets, and sang their hearts out during karaoke. The morning ended with a joyful swing at a homemade disco ball piñata.
In the afternoon, the entire boarding community gathered for an emotional farewell Mass, joined by special guests, staff, and Year 12 parents. The heartfelt speeches were a moving tribute to the boarders’ time here.
The day concluded with a formal three-course meal in the Community Room, during which the Year 12s expressed their gratitude to the boarding staff who have guided them throughout their journey. It was a touching moment filled with appreciation and reflection.
We wish these incredible young women all the best for their futures. We can’t wait to see where life takes them next!Â
