Ciao Lia  

Yesterday we said ‘ciao’ to our Italian exchange student, Lia Cimino. Lia has been with us since the end of Term 2 and returns home to Italy on Monday. She has been a boarder with her host sister Madeleine Anspach and has loved every moment of her time here. A big thank you to the Anspach family for hosting Lia, along with Boarding. Lia has made many new friends and has some great memories of her time here in WA and Santa Maria College. We wish her well in her future endeavours as well as a safe trip home. Arrivederci!

Au Revoir Céline

Sadly, it is also time to say Au revoir to Céline Bossuet, our French exchange student as she returns home to France. Céline has been hosted by Rebecca and Elena Perse (Year 10 & 12) and their family for the past four weeks. She has attended a number of classes during her time here at the College. Céline has enjoyed the opportunity to do things she would not usually do in France, such as taking part in the Interhouse Athletics Carnival, wearing a uniform to school and having recess and lunch outside. It has been a pleasure having Celine here at the College, especially in our French classes.
