From the Principal: Farewell Class of 2018

Yesterday, the Santa Maria College community farewelled the Class of 2018 with the traditional final day festivities. The girls came to school dressed in costumes, some of which showed great creativity.

This was followed by House meetings where each of the eight Houses acknowledged their Year 12 students.

The girls enjoyed a morning tea together for the last time in the Alfresco area and were delighted to be opening their time capsules which held many treasures.

The annual concert followed and the Year 11 students entertained staff and students with skits, songs and dance, often drawing on memories of their time at the College. A highlight was the staff performances by the House Co-ordinators and the College Management Team.

Tonight the College will host the more formal Valedictory Mass and Assembly followed by the Valedictory Dinner on Saturday night.

We wish the girls well on their journey beyond Santa Maria College and hope they all take with them fond memories of their time at the College.
