Long Weekend
Wishing you all a rest-filled and fun-filled long weekend. The girls have had a busy start to the year and are all in need of a rest at home. During the long weekend, the girl’s should not have any school work that has to be done for Tuesday. The weekend is for being with family and friends and for recuperating after busy few weeks. Wishing you love and laughter over the long weekend.
Project Compassion
Project Compassion launches next week on Ash Wednesday, 26 February to mark the beginning of Lent. The College asks all students and staff to donate $10.00 over the course of five weeks to Project Compassion, that’s only $2.00 a week!
These generous donations go to Caritas. Caritas is an organisation that assist individuals and families globally who are much less fortunate than us.
The College also hosts Caritas Day which will be held on Wednesday 18 March. It’s a day of celebration, fun and food to raise money for Caritas! Boarders are reminded to have some cash with them for this day.
Ash Wednesday is a day of fasting, so no meat will be served during meals on this day. During Lent, our community has the choice of not eating meat on Friday’s (it will be available) or giving up other things during Lent, like Chocolate, TikTok etc.
