Future Footprints program supports Indigenous male and female students from remote regions in Western Australia attending boarding schools in Perth. The broad aim of the program is to improve educational outcomes for Indigenous students and enhance their opportunities post-school to further education, employment and/or training.
Last weekend, two Santa Maria students, Piper Brown and Angelina Mene, attended the Future Footprints Graduation and Awards Night at Aquinas College, which recognises Year 12 graduates of the Future Footprints program and includes the Awards of Excellence prizes. Piper was awarded a scholarship to Curtin University.
