Navigating to and from Santa Maria College is easy, with safe and convenient options for every family. Whether your daughter rides a bike, catches a bus, or you drop her off, this guide will help you choose the best option and ensure a smooth start and finish to her school day.

Biking to School

Cycling is a healthy, eco-friendly way to get to school. Santa Maria offers bike racks on campus, giving students a secure place to park. Students need to bring their own locks for safety. Cycling is a great way for girls to build independence, enjoy fresh air, and stay active.

Parent Drop-Off and Pick-Up – Safe and Supervised

Santa Maria offers supervised zones to ensure safe and efficient drop-offs and pick-ups:

Cawston Road: This zone is for students in Years 5, 6, and 7 who do not have siblings in Years 8 – 12. Staff are on duty before and after school to supervise.
Figure 8: Enter through the gate at the bottom of the Figure 8 on Stoneham Road and drop off or pick up your daughter as close to the Chapel (western end of the McAuley Building) as possible. Staff are present to help guide traffic and ensure safety.

Important: Please do not use the entry next to the boarding school on Stoneham Road. This entrance is strictly for College buses, maintenance vehicles, and staff.
