Golden Girls Return to the College
- November 12, 2020
One of the highlights of the Old Girls’ Association is the Golden Girls’ Luncheon. Alumni from 1940 to 1970 returned to the College to celebrate their connection with the College and each other. 68 ladies enjoyed a sumptuous three-course lunch provided by the College catering team.
The ladies were welcomed back to the College by some of our current Year 7 students who guided them to the Community Room. The girls enjoyed hearing the ladies talk about when they were at the College. How things have changed!
On arrival, the ladies were greeted with the beautiful sounds of the College Flute Quartet led by Rebecca McGregor (2008).
A big thank you to the Year 11 students who did a great job throughout the day to serve and attend to our guests. The Old Girls had a wonderful time and are certainly looking forward to their next get together.
