Happy To Be Back: Years 11 & 12 Return to School
We welcomed back the Years 11 and 12 students this week and by all reports, the girls are glad to be back.
Here’s what some of them had to say.
“Being back at school allows me to interact with my friends face to face, which I missed during isolation, and having my routine back makes school much easier.” Georgia Mack
“Being back at school brings back the sense of community. It is good being back especially for Year 12s because it reminds us of the people who we are spending this last year with. Even though we all have had a stressful past few months, we are all doing it together. After the past weeks in isolation, seeing the other girls’ faces, and even the teachers, reminds me of the place where I feel most supported.” Eloise Davis
“Being back at SMC and having the opportunity to interact with everyone again has been very exciting, especially with such positive energy around the school!” Hannah Ward
“I think it’s great that we’re back, it’s really nice to see everyone in person again and resume regular learning” Tolu Sorunmu
“I think it is good to be back at school so I can see my friends and can understand the work better being face to face with the teachers.” Cleo Kenny
We are missing our boarders, but hope they can be back with us very soon.
