Health Week at the College
At Santa Maria College, Health Week is an eagerly awaited annual event, and this year’s celebration was another great success for both students and staff! Our campus was filled with excitement as students participated in a variety of fun activities promoting physical and mental wellbeing.
Students enjoyed skipping and football games at lunchtime, rock wall climbing for our Years 5 and 6 students, and mindfulness and breathwork sessions, offering a mix of active and calming experiences.
Our staff also benefited from Health Week with wellness activities designed specifically for them. They had the opportunity to unwind with massages and receive skin checks, allowing them to relax and take care of their health.
Health Week at Santa Maria College encourages healthy habits and strengthens our community, making it a highlight of our school year.
A message from our Wellbeing Leader, Ashleigh!
Health Week is an opportunity to educate, inspire, and empower the Santa Maria students to prioritise their physical and mental wellbeing, helping to create a healthier, happier life. As Wellbeing Captain, my goal during Health Week has been to form a supportive environment where every student feels valued and can thrive.
