Choosing the right school for your daughter is a big decision, and we’re here to support you every step of the way, including making fees and financial planning as straightforward as possible. To make things easier, we’ve outlined everything you need to know about our fees, levies, payment options, and financial support for 2025.
2025 Tuition Fees
The tuition fees at Santa Maria College reflect our commitment to academic excellence, cutting-edge facilities, and holistic student development. Fees vary depending on the year level:
2025 Annual School Fees
- Year 5: $9,152
- Year 6: $9,602
- Year 7: $17,665
- Year 8: $17,125
- Year 9: $17,998
- Year 10: $17,374
- Year 11: $17,442
- Year 12: $17,687
- Boarding Fee: $28,180
In addition to tuition fees, families contribute to compulsory levies, including:
- Digital Learning Levy – $790 per student, supporting technology integration.
- Curriculum & Resource Fee – Ranges from $210 to $1,353, depending on year level.
- Facilities & Grounds Levy – $1,950 per family, ensuring our learning environment remains state-of-the-art.
Some subjects, excursions, and optional programs (such as Outdoor Education or Music Tuition) carry additional costs.
Making School Fees Work for Your Family
We offer several payment plans to suit different family needs:
- Annual Payment – Pay in full by 21 February 2025 and receive a 3% discount on tuition fees.
- Three Instalments – Payments due on 19 February, 19 May, and 19 August 2025.
- Nine Monthly Instalments – Payments start 21 February 2025 and continue until 21 October 2025.
- Eighteen Fortnightly Instalments – Payments start 14 February 2025 and continue until 11 October 2025.
Payments can be made via direct debit, credit card, cash, or cheque. Families on bursaries are not eligible for the 3% discount.

Sibling Discounts and Financial Support
We know that education is a significant investment, so we offer support where possible:
- Sibling Discounts – 10% off tuition fees for a second sibling and 20% off for a third sibling (for students in senior school).
- Catherine McAuley Bursary – Available to families with a Centrelink Health Care Card (not applicable in Years 5, 6, or 7, or during the first year at the College).
- Financial Hardship Concession – Short-term assistance for families experiencing financial difficulties. Parents will need to declare their financial status as part of the application process.
Applications for bursaries and financial support must be submitted by 28 March 2025 and are assessed annually.
Additional Costs and Subject Fees
Some subjects and programs have extra costs. For example:
- Year 9 Outdoor Education – $200
- Year 12 Geography Camp – $200
- UniReady Program – $550
- Music Lessons & Optional Excursions – Fees available upon request
Enrolment and Withdrawal Policies
- Application Fee – $150 (non-refundable) is required to begin the enrolment process.
- Enrolment Confirming Fee – $1,200, payable upon accepting an offer.
- Withdrawal Notice – If withdrawing a student, one full term’s written notice must be given. Otherwise, one-third of the annual tuition fee will be charged. Boarding students must give one semester’s notice, or full annual boarding fees will apply.
Government Assistance
Eligible families may access financial support through:
- Assistance for Isolated Children (AIC) – Available for boarding families.
- Youth Allowance – For students over 16 living away from home for study.
- Boarding Away from Home Allowance (BAHA) – Additional support for AIC recipients.
- Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) – Provides education and clothing allowances for eligible concession card holders.
