Last Friday evening, Year 9 students had the opportunity to hear artist, Jennifer Gaye, share her experiences as an international fashion designer. She talked about her work in Australia and Japan in particular, and now extending into China.  The students then had time to work on a creation of their own – using fabric and paper to create a piece of art to take home.

This was a great demonstration of the Santa Maria community coming together with one of our parents, who is an internationally recognised artist sharing her skills and story with our young students.
