Our Year 5 & 6 girls were wonderful ambassadors for the College last night , at the JIGSSA Swimming Carnival at HBF Stadium. The girls worked hard together and showed true grit, as they gave their best, for themselves, their team members and the College.

Overall Santa Maria placed third among the eight schools participating, while the Year 6 girls won their age group.

Congratulations to all involved and a special thank you to Ms Barter and Mrs Wood for organising and supporting the girls and to Ms Florenca who came along to cheer us all over the line.

It was a challenging, yet enjoyable evening for all the girls involved and their very proud families.
