Kiera is Youth Citizen of the Year
- February 3, 2020

Kiera Collier (Class of 2016) was awarded The City of Canning Youth Citizen of the Year Award at their Australia Day celebrations at Shelley Foreshore this year.
Kiera was recognised for her service of over 200 hours last year to the Endometriosis Perth Sisterhood of Support (EPSS). EPSS is a volunteer and peer-based support network for people living with endometriosis in Western Australia.
Whilst finishing the final year of her Biomedical Science degree at UWA, Kiera volunteered as a trained facilitator of educational and supportive events for members, a moderator for the online support group, and continues to serve on the management committee. She is passionate about raising awareness of the condition and supporting those who suffer with endometriosis, particularly young women. Kiera is travelling to Shanghai in May alongside other team members to represent the organisation at the 14th World Congress on Endometriosis.
