The subject of kids’ friendships often conjures up a lot of emotion in parents. It is difficult to watch your child struggle through the learning required to build and sustain good, ongoing relationships.
This was the subject of a discussion on ABC Perth radio’s Focus program this week. Hosted by Nadia Mitsopoulos, the panel was Santa Maria’s Research Officer, Linda Stade and Psychologist, Jane Carmignani. They covered topics such as, ‘What kids should know about friendship’ and ‘How parents can respond to friendship problems’. You can listen to the discussion here:
