This semester, our girls from Ladies in Labcoats worked with Murdoch University’s Professor Chris Florides on a project that focused on finding ways to lower the allergenic properties of a variety of wheat and barley seeds through the analysis of the protein content found in the seeds. In this video our girls recounted the procedure they went through as well as reflect upon their experiences and the things they learnt whilst participating in the project.
