Life Lessons With A Lunchbox: Alexa Teixeira (2015)

Alexa Teixeira graduated in 2015. She decided to take take a gap year, working in the USA at a summer camp for three months and then travelled around the country afterward.

During this travel time, Alexa took part in a studio tour at Warner Brothers in Los Angeles. This one experience opened a new world and pathway to be discovered.

Alexa returned to Perth and enrolled at Curtin University to study a degree in film. It was the best decision she ever made. She loves the creative process of film making.

Alexa is grateful that she took some time to explore the world, discover herself and her new passions. She believes that it is very important to be open to new things, and embrace new opportunities. You never know where it will take you!

I loved Life Lessons with A Lunchbox because it taught us a lot about getting out of our comfort zone to try new things.  It was really fun to be able to listen to someone who is older than us and learn many new things as well. It was also a bonus that it was raining so we were nice and warm and comfortable. The food was really tasty to top it all off.  (Mia Buswell, Year 6)
