New Honour Boards Celebrate Sporting Success and Commitment

Some sporting achievements deserve more than a passing moment. They deserve to be seen, remembered, and celebrated. Our two new honour boards in McDonald Hall do exactly that. Shining a light on the pennants we have won and the students who have represented the College in 20 or more teams and events through their time at the College.

These new sport honour boards celebrate commitment, participation, and the pride that comes with representing the College. The effort and persistence behind years of College sport can now be seen by students, staff, families, and visitors as they walk through the Hall.

The 20’s Club Recognises Dedication

This new initiative recognises students who have shown outstanding commitment to College sport by participating in 20 or more sporting teams and events during their time at the College. A place on the 20s Club board is not only about athletic ability. It is about dedication, school spirit, teamwork, and a willingness to get involved across a wide range of sports. Whether a student has represented the College on the field, court, track, or in the pool, her contribution has helped shape the sporting life of the school.

The 20s Club celebrates the students who keep turning up, keep contributing, and set a strong example for others to follow.

We look forward to seeing many more names added to the board in the years to come as students continue to embrace every opportunity to get involved in College sport.

The IGSSA Pennant Board Brings Sporting History into View

Have you ever wondered where all our IGSSA pennants go after a successful season?

Until now, these flags have been stored out of sight, meaning our community could not easily see the results of our students’ hard work and dedication. The new IGSSA pennant board changes that.

Now proudly displayed in McDonald Building, the board showcases pennants won across a range of events and competitions. It is a simple but a meaningful way to celebrate sporting achievements and preserve an important part of the College’s history.

It is also a reminder to current students of what is possible. Every pennant on display represents a team that trained hard, showed up for one another, and wore the College colours with pride. We look forward to filling the board in the years ahead.
