Congratulations to Year 10 student, Erin Turner, who spent the school holidays in Victoria where she represented Western Australia in the 2018 Marcus Oldham Interschool Equestrian National Championships.

Erin competed on a pool horse, which is horse borrowed for the event, as Erin was unable to take her own horse. This is an added challenge and Erin did well to place 8th in her Combined Training 95cm class.

It was a great experience and the WA riders were all excellent ambassadors for the state. The team consisted of 20 girls and two boys from around WA, ranging from Year 6 to Year 12. The team competed against over 400 competitors and WA came 5th overall.
