Our girls are once again involved in the IGSSA cricket competition this term, running on Tuesday afternoons.

With the popularity of the women’s Big Bash League in Australia, the number of girls participating has grown. This year we have two Years 7/8 teams, and one Open Girls’ team made up of students from Years 9 – 12.

Our resident cricket expert, staff member Geoff Kay, has been preparing our girls for the season, alongside our cricket coordinator Natalie Reardon. Judging by how many boundaries our students scored last week, they are certainly doing a great job! We look forward to seeing how they go for the rest of the season.
