Dolphin Watch 2017 has well and truly started at Santa Maria College. Joselyn Juraszek from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Visitor Attractions was invited to the College on Tuesday evening to chat to our ever-growing group of Mini Ladies in Lab Coats.

Over 40 girls from Years 5 and 6 came along to learn about the Swan River Park and its healthy population of over 25 resident dolphins. They were introduced to the ‘FinBook’, which they will use to identify and monitor the dolphins over the term. The talk also started their thought process into the project they will develop over the coming weeks.
