Orana Catholic Primary School was the location for the 2019 Regional Interschool Spelling Bee held earlier this month. Students from Santa Maria, along with students from five other schools participated in the event, which was a daunting experience for some of the girls, requiring courage and determination.

Year 6 students Caitlin Fong and Paula Kraus and Year 5 students Naomi Karczub and Lucy Smythe represented the College beautifully with their impeccable manners and the composed way they approached spelling and attempting many difficult words. We are very proud of their wonderful efforts.
