Continuing on with her success earlier this year, Year 5 student, Hannah Min Oo has rounded off her first year as a competitive diver for Western Australia with a fantastic finish to the competition season with an outstanding result in the School Sport Championships for WA in Diving.

In her first year of eligibility, Hannah was selected as one of three 10-year-old female divers.

During September Hannah competed in two events and received medals in both:

  • 10-year-old girls’ knockout where she competed in a mix of 1m & 3m springboard dives, there were four rounds eliminating multiple divers per round, Hannah made it to the fourth and final round and won a bronze medal.
  • 10-year-old girls’ individual 1m & 3m springboard event, where she came from 4th place in round 3 to pull off an amazing last dive and finish with a silver medal.

To cap off her success Hannah also received the Certificate of Sportsmanship for the competition.
