We’d like to introduce you to new staff who have commenced at the College this term.

ELAINE BLAKE

How long have you been teaching? 
I’ve been teaching for six and a half years.

Where were you teaching prior to Santa Maria College?
I was teaching at St Heliers School, in Auckland, New Zealand.

What subjects are you teaching at Santa Maria?
I’m teaching Dance and English. I am also the Year 7 Kelly Homeroom Teacher.

 

ASSUNTA MELECA

How long have you been teaching?
I’ve been teaching for 22 years.

Where were you teaching prior to Santa Maria College?
I taught at St Hilda’s Anglican School for Girls before coming to Santa Maria.

What subjects are you teaching at Santa Maria?
I will be teaching Visual Arts.

 

LINDA DIJKMANS

How long have you been teaching?
I have been teaching for 20 years.

Where were you teaching prior to Santa Maria College?
Prior to Santa Maria, I taught at St Brigid’s College in Lesmurdie.

What subjects are you teaching at Santa Maria?
I am teaching Humanities and Social Sciences to Years 7 – 10 students. I am also the Year 8 Frayne Homeroom Teacher.

 

MEGHAN FRANZINELLI

How long have you been teaching?
I’ve been teaching for six years.

Where were you teaching prior to Santa Maria College?
I’ve previously taught at Swan Christian College, La Salle College and Perth College. From 2017-2018 I was the Events Co-ordinator at Perth College.

What subjects are you teaching at Santa Maria?
I am teaching Home Economics to students from Years 6 – 12. I am also the Year 7 Dillon Homeroom Teacher.

 

CERI MORTON

How long have you been teaching?
I’ve been teaching for five years.

Where did you come from prior to Santa Maria College?
I am originally from Liverpool, UK and moved to Perth two and a half years ago, where I taught at Bullsbrook College and Penrhos College before coming to Santa Maria.

What subjects are you teaching at Santa Maria?
I am teaching Humanities & Social Sciences to Years 7 – 10 students. I am also the Year 10 de la Hoyde Homeroom Teacher.
