Year 5 students will have some strange visitors in their classrooms over the next few weeks!

The Science Department has generously allowed Year 5 classes to care for their four Thorny Stick Insects while the students are learning about adaptations. The girls will care for these delightful creatures while learning all about the adaptations that help them to survive in nature.

There are some mixed reactions to these prickly new classmates but the students (and definitely the teachers) are excited for all the learning these critters will bring!
