Eco Sisters at work

Year 11 student, Ruby Mavrick spoke recently at the Healthy Rivers, Healthy Communities forum with the Minister for the Environment, Stephen Dawson, about the work that the Ecosisters do.

Ruby was part of a group of other presenters from youth environment organisation ‘Millennium Kids’, along with The Forever Project, The Environmental Defenders Office and Birdlife Australia. The Healthy Rivers Healthy Communities Forum included presentations, displays and opportunities to learn more about our local section of the Swan Canning River park and how to get involved in its care.

We are hoping to secure a grant that will allow Ecosisters to continue its excellent work.

Thank you to Ruby and the Ecosisters.
