Head of Boarding, Leanne McTavish with students Paige Kirk (Year 8) and Mackenzie Goss (Year 11)

Last week, Jacqui Daniels, Old Girls’ Association Coordinator and Leanne McTavish, Head of Boarding took Santa on the road to the Wagin Woolorama, with local boarders Paige Kirk (Year 8) and Mackenzie Goss (Year 11).

Leanne said, “We had a lot of visitors to our stand in the education pavilion at the show. We enjoyed chatting and taking photos with Old Girls and current and prospective families at our stand. Regional visits are incredibly important in maintaining a connection with our country families and we thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to meet those who ventured out to see us.

“Part of our focus in 2019 and beyond, is to increase the number of regional visits keeping us connected with our Santa Maria families and ensuring new boarders feel comfortable and prepared for their start in Boarding.”

If you would be interested in having us visit your region and you think Santa Maria is strongly connected to towns in your area, then please contact Leanne in Boarding

Our next planned Field Day is Mingenew in August and we hope families from the surrounding region will visit us there.
