Students Hand Over the Reins

There is a tradition at Santa Maria where the outgoing Student Leadership Team hands over the leadership reins to the incoming leaders. Following the commissioning of the new leaders to the College on Thursday afternoon, the girls enjoyed an afternoon together sharing wisdom and advice. They passed on precious notes of encouragement, gave trinkets and USBs full of ideas that have characterised their leadership during their leadership term.

Following on from this gathering the graduating student leaders celebrated with a dinner at Eat Greek Restaurant, with the College Executive. Once again, reminiscing and joy characterised this meal. Mrs Oaten addressed the council and shared her pride in their contribution to College life and wished them well for whatever adventures lie ahead.
