2019 Year 12s Receive Red Hat Bands
After a busy year of studying, co-curricular activities, social events and tours, we finally came to our Year 11 end of year exams and work placements. Our next milestone was in sight – becoming Year 12s.
Year 12s who have gone before us have always been recognised around the College and local community by their red jumpers, leavers’ jackets and red hat bands. Following our Year Mass on Friday and a few encouraging words from Mrs Chaffer, our Homeroom Teachers proudly presented us with our red hat bands, symbolising the start of our leadership journey as Year 12s.
The red hat bands alongside our jumpers and leavers’ jackets serve as a reminder of our responsibility as Senior Students to be good role models for younger students. As Year 12s, we are to lead in our behaviour, service, academic studies and many other areas of College Life. We are all very much looking forward to the year ahead.
