President Report – August 2021
- August 26, 2021

Welcome to the August edition of the OGA Blog.
Â
I’d like to start by extending my thoughts to any of our members who are currently in lockdown or experiencing other hardships due to the pandemic. So many of us are dealing with being separated from people we love and care about, with the uncertainty of not knowing when we may be together again. Please take care of yourselves physically and mentally during these trying times, and ask for help if you need it.Â
Â
Thank you to everyone who has volunteered their time again to assist with feeding the homeless. It’s such a rewarding experience and one that we couldn’t do without your help. If you’re interested in joining us next time, please get in touch.
Â
I’m also very excited to announce that the judging process for the OGA’s Project of Mercy Grant has begun. We were blown away with the calibre of the applications we received, and look forward to announcing the winner in due course.
Until next time.
Gemma Varone (2009), President
