It’s an exciting time for the OGA, with a stack of fabulous events on the horizon. This year is a special one for Santa, as we celebrate the college’s 80th anniversary. And what better way to do so than with a stylish High Tea and Wedding Exhibition! Gowns from past students who were married in the College Chapel will be on display – lace, sequins, puffy shoulders – you name it, we’ve got it!
Thank you to all of our members who have already offered to display their beautiful dresses. There are also a number of other ways to get involved: coming to help set up, dressing mannequins, assisting with floral arrangements or lending your musical talents.
Please keep Saturday 9th June free and invite all your family and friends to share in this wonderful community event.
We are also excited to announce that our ‘Life Lessons with a Lunchbox’ program will be continuing for a second year. We are looking for members with a story to share with our students relating to one or more of our College Character Strengths (some examples are Honesty, Creativity and Gratitude).  This is a great way to connect with the College and current students.
Being part of the OGA Committee is an extremely rewarding experience, and a great way to give back. If you’d like to get involved, please get in touch with our Coordinator, Jacqui Daniels. We’d love to have you on board!
Happy reading and I hope to see you soon at one of our events.
